It's finally here! The Summer Convention we've all been waiting on. There is a Word from the Lord for the people, and it comes through the theme: "IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!" We are looking for God to move on our requests and take us to another dimension in Him.

Monday June 15 begins at 7:30pm with Sister Vonda Brown as our speaker. What an anointed and powerful woman of God.

Tuesday, June 16th is the highlight of our convention with the "Young Debaters Competition". Where the Young people will be debating issues they face in everyday life.

Wednesday, June 17th our Music Department President, Elder Robert Moore will be bringing the Word for the evening.

Thursday, June 18th is OFFICIAL NIGHT! The Chairman of the convention & youth Dept. President Elder Ethan B. Sheard will be bring the message on the theme, "Impossible is NOTHING!"

And Friday, June 19, our Bishop that allows all of this to be possible,...will be speaking to the convention,...Bishop John H. Sheard-Jurisdictional Bishop of the First Jurisdiction Michigan Southwest COGIC. Please plan to attend, and watch God make your impossibilities……………….NOTHING!

Bishop John H. Sheard has seen the need for the churches, pastors, and members of the 1st Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction Michigan Southwest, to operate in a uniform manner. Thus he has developed the Jurisdictional Handbook. This handbook details the operating procedures for the Jurisdiction, and covers topics such as:

· The protocol when inviting the national Supervisor to the local church
· The procedures to follow when the pastor dies
· The proper attire for ministers on Official Days
· The pulpit protocol for Official Days
· Why it is no longer proper to use the phrase “State Workers”, “State Supervisor”, etc. in Jurisdiction #1
